Mercedes non start, Crash Event – Active

One of the first concerns were that the gear selector wasn’t lit up, and neither was there a telltale gearbox position indicator on the dashboard.

Because the vehicle was purchased as a write off, the engine had not been seen working. The vehicle wouldn’t start because of a Crash Event in the ECU. Crash events are often activated when the airbags are deployed. This was no exception.

After performing our work, the vehicle can now be finished off and turned over to the customer.
