🚚 Here we had a Foden running a Cummins ISME 420 engine with customer complaint of heavy fuel consumption.
🔌 A scan using our Cummins Insite tool showed no fault codes but did show us that The ECM software was 12 and a half years out of date. ECM upgraded from version 15 to version 21.
💷 Vehicle road tested with customer and found heavy boost leak from front end. Further testing revealed large hole in the intercooler. Customer advised to have intercooler replaced.
