📞 Called out to an Optare Solo today with intermittent strange behavior. Intermittent unexpected wipers, doors occasionally functioning etc.
💉 After customer described symptoms, we immediately knew there was a fault with the CAMU/IOU systems. Customer had tried swapping IOU units to different locations which seemed to fix the issue temporarily. This was just coincidence.
👨🏫 Fortunately we have manufacturer level tools to help pinpoint and diagnose the fault. Software pointed out exactly where to look for the issue.
🔌 Initially the IOU didn’t look too bad but once removed, full extent of the damage was revealed. Spare IOU fitted and vehicle road tested.
✔️ Customer happy with repair and vehicle put back in to service!
